Stephen J. Wenthold, PLS
Mr. Wenthold has over 40 years of experience as a land surveyor, supervisor and as an administrator. He is responsible for scheduling of projects, project review, coordination with consultants and government agencies, quality control, preparation of contract documents and project documentation.
Mr. Wenthold was selected as the Polk County, Minnesota Land Surveyor by his peers in 1982 and served with distinction until him and his family moved to the east coast in 1984. Shortly after arriving In Maryland, Mr. Wenthold was hired by Kidde Consultants where he worked for 7 years working his way up from a surveying computer to survey manager to Vice President of the Rockville Office. In 1991 Mr. Wenthold opened Meridian Surveys, Inc. concentrating on his extensive land surveying experience and his wife’s connections in real estate to provide high quality land surveying to the Montgomery County and DC area.
Mr. Wenthold has worked with various attorneys on several complex and intricate property boundary resolutions cases and has been asked to testify as an expert witness on several occasions.
Mr. Wenthold’s survey company was chosen by Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools, Division of Construction, as their exclusive land surveying company, and has faithfully served them in this capacity since 2008, in preparing surveys for the County’s use and for the use of the County’s consultants on over 130 school sites.

Business Development Coordinator
Michael is the company’s office manager, proposal coordinator, social media manager, resident tech guru and a little of everything else. He is essentially the company’s jack of all trades. Michael has been with Meridian Surveys in varying capacities since its founding in 1991. He is the second generation to join the firm. After being away from Meridian for a couple years, Michael returned to Meridian Surveys in 2012, bringing his diverse background to help promote Meridian Surveys as one of the premier land surveying firms in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Michael’s past work includes supervising retail employees, coordinating route distribution at a local newspaper and managing customer service staff at in a call center. His diverse background and varied experience provides Meridian Surveys a unique, outside-the-box perspective to the surveying business. His recent projects at Meridian Surveys including expanding the company’s social media presence, spearheading the company’s rebranded website, streamlining proposal processes and automating several clerical procedures used by the office staff.

Mr. Crisamore has been with Meridian Surveys for 12 years, and been in the surveys industry for over thirty years. He is responsible for CADD drafting, easement preparation, and final drawing distribution to clients.
Richard started his career in 1969, where he started as a rodman on a field crew with his father in Pennsylvania. After ten years in the field, Richard made the transition to survey computer and then CADD technician. He has been the lead CADD technician on many of the company’s largest projects, including the United States Supreme Court Building, Paint Branch High School and Montgomery County Adult Detention Center.Mr. Crisamore often serves as the technical liaison with CADD technicians and Project Managers at our partner firms and with local government and regulatory agencies such as Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, and Montgomery County Public Schools.

Mr. Goodwin has been with Meridian Surveys since its start in 1992, and has thirty-three years’ experience in the surveying industry. William is a second generation land surveyor, having started his career in 1980 at Kidde Consultants. Over his thirty plus year career, he has worked on construction stakeout, ALTA , topographic, boundary, GPS, aerial photo control and many other types of projects. He has been in the industry long enough to have experience in just about every type of field situation. He is well versed in traditional rod and chain surveying, as well as Meridian Survey’s state of the art one-man robotic theodolite systems.
In addition to his work in the field and supervising the field personnel, he also maintains the field equipment and manages supplies for our field crews.
